About Us
Our love affair with the Arabian horse began quite by chance. Many people use that phrase, however in our case it is absolutely true. Frank’s parents had been involved with hunter-jumpers for many years. When he was 12 years old he and his parent’s went to watch friends compete in the third Calgary Arabian horse show. They purchased a program; Frank entered his name for the door prize and a short time later he was the grand prize winner of a young pinto half Arabian mare. Triple A Sue-Moh better known as Sue, proved to be so gentle and versatile that she created an enduring desire in Frank to train and breed Arabian horses.
Fortunately Frank found a willing partner when he met and married Kathryn. Eventually, Frank and Kathy passed on enjoyment of the breed to their children Shaun and Mhari.

Now, Reflection resides on the Crooks family farm just south of Medicine Hat, Alberta Canada ... operating as Circle C Performance Horses Ltd.
The family continues to pass on their love of the Arabian breed to another generation. Joined by Shaun’s wife Dianne, their two daughters Hannah and Rebecca ... while just beginning their show careers, Hannah and Rebecca already demonstrate the same love and admiration for this magnificent breed as their grandparents.

Circle C Performance Horses - A Family Tradition!
While showing Arabians has been a family venture, the primary force behind this is Mhari.
Beginning as a 4H Light Horse member, she eventually went on to win several Top Ten’s in reining at Scottsdale and the Canadian Nationals.
The turn of the century brought more than a new millennium. This was the year that the Crooks family had the great fortune to purchase Baloo Reflection, a young grey stallion, out of Satin Sheree Amore and by Hullabaloo. As Frank has said countless times he “waited a lifetime for a horse like Reflection to come along”.
